Pragpur and Shimla
Moving on from Amritsar we stopped for a couple of nights at Pragpur which is India's first 'Heritage Village'.
We travelled up into the edge of the Himalayas to McLeod Ganj in Dharamshala to the home of the Dalai Lama.
We then visited the Kangra Fort, thought to be the oldest in India and the largest fort in the Himalayas.
We moved on to Shimla staying at the magnificent Oberoi Cecil Hotel, a colonial property dating from 1884.
From here we visited the Viceregal Lodge, had a ride on a Toy Train to Tara Devi where we visited the Temple and finished walking along the Ridge to Scandal Point.
